Scrap Girls Designer Brandy Murry has another great installment in her Breaking Down the Layout video series! She will show you a really cool effect you can use on your pages in this video tutorial using handprints.
In her layout tiny hands she has included her nephews handprints pressed into the dough and flour next to his first baking project. This is a really fun way to document a child or grandchild by including their handprints of footprints on one of your layouts. The same technique could be used with sand, paint, mud or other digital scrapbooking layout ideas. The handprints come from her Baby Chronicles Brush Set, but could also stamp or scan your own little one’s digits to make this type of layout truly unique.
One of the great things about this video tutorial is that Brandy shows you how to use brushes in another way other then just stamping them on your layout. So you will come away with some new skills that you can use for lots of future layouts. Click on the box below to watch the video and then get ready to try this cool brush technique on your next page.
