Are you ready for SG: Project Life 2018? Join us on the Scrap Girls Forum for a year-long scrapping challenge! The primary goal of this challenge is to stay current in scrapping your photos each year. If you’re concerned you won’t be able to finish such a long challenge, the blog article Scrap Girls Project Life: Set Yourself Up for Success has some ideas to help keep you on track.
This year, Anne Marie (A-M) will be heading up our Scrap Girls Project Life 2018 on the forum where she will provide you with challenges, inspiration, and encouragement. There are quarterly prizes to help keep you motivated and a special prize for all those who complete their pages for the year! Find the details on the SG: Project Life 2018 Forum Thread.
There is no set format for the Project Life layouts. You can take daily photos, scrap weekly layouts, monthly layouts, or do whatever works best for you! We even have one grandmother that does her grandchildren’s birthdays. Your Project Life pages can be mostly journaling with a few photos or lots of photos with snippets of journaling. We do request that you put a date somewhere on your layout or in your description so we can better track your progress.
Here are some typical formats our members have chosen:
- Create one layout for each week of the year (single or double pages).
- Create one layout (single or double-page) per month.
Layout by Shannon Trombley
Layout by Carla Shute
- Create a monthly calendar-style layout.
Layout by Becster
- Use Pocket Life products to document your year (digital or hybrid).

So, how will you be doing your Project Life this year? You can choose one or more of the suggested formats, switch back and forth between styles or even create your own! There is a thread to sign up that has all the details, and another forum thread just for chatting and swapping ideas. However you choose to scrap your 2018, we’d love to see your pages in the Scrap Girls Gallery!
