September’s Scrap Girls Club was created for you by Syndee Rogers-NucklesThis month’s Scrap Girls Club takes us through a nostalgic journey of children’s games, old books, and vintage images. We asked Syndee what inspired her as she was working on this club; and the types of projects it would work well for. Here’s what she had to say:
I have long been a fan of vintage and retro games, toys, and old books. When I began the planning process for this club I knew that I could mix a little bit of school themed goodies with worn book textures and it would be the perfect kit for school layouts. But as with most of my club kits I like to create an eclectic mix of embellishments and papers that will work for just about any theme. You will also find collage style papers with a torn, shabby flair and painted lace word art masks, all of which I envisioned using for art journaling projects and hybrid collages. – Syndee
