In this tutorial, I am diverging from my beloved Art Journal Scrap Girls Style and entering into the world of Scrap Girls Hybrid Crafts! Although they are two totally different genres; they both use quite a few of the same products! My intention is to stimulate your creativity and pique your artistic “I wonder… what if?”
The Scrap Girls hybrid craft product I am having the most fun with lately is Cherise Oleson’s ScrapSimple Craft Templates: Photo Cubes 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch and Sheer Heaven. Sheer Heaven is the BEST image transfer medium for porous surfaces, but it’s versatility is limitless – it’s heat tolerant, ironable, embossable, and is semi-transparent! These attributes are perfect for this project.
Each stage of this tutorial has a different theme to show you some possibilities and get you thinking! The finished cubes were slipped onto mini Christmas tree lights, both colored and clear, then photographed.
