Behind the Scenes: Syndee Nuckles’ September Club!

Click here to check out this beautiful September club at a great price!

When you started working on your club, what was the first thing you did?

Well, I was bound and determined to figure out a direction early on this time! LOL

I decided that a vintage children/school/old books theme would be perfect for September. It’s always hard to choose a theme or direction and so this was half the battle!

Where did you find the inspiration for this club?

All over! I love anything vintage – so being inspired wasn’t hard. I looked through old photos, trinkets, and treasures at my parents house, Pinterest, and pretty much all over!

The club includes several products. Did you start and complete each one before moving on to the next?

Goodness no! LOL

I do always start with the papers first because I like to use them in the creation of some of my embellishments, word art, and sometimes my alpha. For this club I created ALL the papers first for the collection, paper minis, and the JIF Plus. I had created way more than I needed to so I may have to do a companion kit down the line!

What was your favorite thing to design?

That is a hard one! But I am going to have to say I really enjoyed designing the JIF Plus Kit. I love the collage and bingo papers and the fun vintage game pieces!

What inspired the colors in your club?

Again, I gathered color inspiration from vintage games, images, books, and magazines. The only problem is that I always end up with a rather large color palette, but certain colors seem to take center stage as I create the products.

If you could pick only one word to describe your club, what would that word be?

I think Nostalgic, it’s so full of games, books and images from days gone by, it’s easy to feel nostalgic for childhood memories.

How did you come up with the name of your club?

It just sort of popped into my head as I was working on it! I had a few others and ran them by a couple of friends and they all agreed on this one.

I hope you enjoy this club. I had so much fun creating it for you!
