Way of Moving Scrapbooking Graphics & Photos into Windows-Based Graphic Software

Step-by-Step Instructions

This tutorial works for most Windows-based graphics software that is used for digital scrapbooking. It has been successfully tested in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements (PSE), Paint Shop Pro (PSP) and PhotoImpact.

(It does work in Digital Image Pro, but the wrong kind of workspace is created and you can't build a scrapbooking layout on top of it, so I wouldn't recommend it for that software.)

  1. Open your folder that has the scrapbooking graphics that you wish to use in your layout. Open your software. In this example, I have my folder that contains my pink backgrounds in it. Reduce the window sizes so that you can see both the folder and your software.

  1. Grab the paper you wish to use by single-clicking on it and while holding down your mouse, drag it over to your software window. Ta-dah! It is there!
