Making Gift Card Sets from Digital Scrapbooking Supplies
This free digital scrapbooking tutorial was created using Adobe Photoshop Elements with Windows, but should be able to be adapted easily to other systems. If you have questions about how to do this, just ask on our message board!
I rarely buy cards. It’s not that I don’t like to send cards, it’s just that they are so expensive. This is why I love ScrapSimple Card Templates! To make the cards for this review, I am using Jan Hicks’ ScrapSimple Craft Templates: 5x7 Greeting Card Gift Set. It comes with several different digital card templates. The first thing I do is place all of the layers together in one digital file, or if your software is able, open the PSD file.
I then add papers, clipping them to the layers (Ctrl+G). Next, I add my digital embellishments, alphas, and/or word art.
Next, I create the inside of the greeting card using a few coordinating embellishments and add a personal sentiment. Our awesome designers have created digital brushes for this, too!
This is a fast and inexpensive way to create personalized greeting cards with your digital scrapbook supplies that you can print out at home!
