Video Tutorial: Make Your Own Glass Magnets!

Join Scrap Girls Hybrid Team Member Lei Maier as she shows you how to make your own glass magnets using Elisha Barnett’s digital scrapbooking Silent Night Kit and traditional craft supplies!

These glass magnets make a quick and easy printable gift for family, friends; or get your kids involved and have them make a set for Grandma. It is also nice for a gift exchange, or just blessing the heart of a good friend. You can choose a theme specific to the interest of the one you are gifting.

Supplies used:

Flat glass discs found in the floral department of your local craft store
White Cardstock
Magnetic strips or sheets found at local craft store
Clear glue or clear silicon (found in hardware)
Perfect Pearls – Heirloom Gold
Elisha Barnett’s Silent Night Collection Biggie or your favorite digital scrapbooking supplies

Grab your supplies and make these along with me in the video. Be sure to take photos and upload them into the Scrap Girls Hybrid Gallery so we can admire your handiwork!

And as always . . . Enjoy the Process!!

  1. I thought this was a great idea! I have made several. To be honest I did change it up a bit. I just used regular paper, white glue, and glitter glue. On the back, I had some sticky back felt, and that worked well too. So thanks for the tutorial. I know I will be making gobbs of them in the future!

This is awesome! I just spent the afternoon making some for Xmas presents. Even bought a 1″ round punch to get perfect circles. I’m not using scrapbooking papers, I’m printing photos of my son on 4×6 paper and cutting out from there. My family is going to love these! Thanks for the idea!

    • I was thinking the same thing that these would be awesome with photos as well! Would love to see what you all have created!
