Here’s a wonderful, sweet little printable matchbook Christmas album that’s just so quick and easy to make you’ll love it. It’s perfect for giving as a last minute gift to anyone on your list and it may be adapted to fit any occasion or theme. It’s just perfect for a birthday, thank you, friendship, teacher, or Valentine’s Day gift. It could be a mini album of vacation/special event memories, or any other occasion you can think of!
This tutorial uses the digital scrapbooking supplies included with the product. To demonstrate product versatility, I have also included photos of examples to fit other occasions. You will just need to change your digital papers and embellishments to fit the occasion or theme you are creating it for!
NOTE: The digital supplies needed to complete two matchbooks (as shown in boutique product description) are included with the template set.

Scrap Girls digital scrapbooking supplies (papers/embellishments) to coordinate with the theme of your book
Photos as desired – sized to fit 3×3 inch pages
Other embellishments as desired: buttons, charms, glitter, lace, ribbons, rubber stamps, trims, etc.
Creating the Cover:
Print the file “MST_Matchbook_Christmas_TemplateAndEmbellish.jpg” on 8.5×11 white cardstock.
Wait for the ink to dry.
On the back of the cardstock you have just printed, print either:
“MST_Matchbook_Christmas_Words85x11.jpg” or
“MST_Matchbook_Christmas_HolidayCircles85x11.jpg”
Using the guides for reference, score along the rectangle of the template. You will be folding along these lines.
Cut the rectangle out of the template side.
Fold along the scored lines.
Embellish cover.
Creating the inside pages:
Cut a 3” x 12” rectangle of cardstock.
Make a light mark 1/2” up from the bottom of one edge for reference.
Fold the 3×12 rectangle down so that the top edge meets your 1/2” mark. (This will
nearly fold it in half).
Fold this in half again.
Embellish the pages, leaving the bottom 1/2” undecorated.
Slip the inside into the narrow fold of the cover and staple twice to hold it down.
Insert the top cover edge into the bottom front edge, like a matchbook.
There! Now you have a nice neat little matchbook album ready to give to someone special or maybe even keep for yourself.
