Printable Birthday Cards Tutorial

Printable-Birthday-Card_tutorial-1
The minute I saw the papers and embellishments in Brandy Murry’s B Sweet digital scrapbooking products I knew I wanted to make some printable Birthday Cards.  For this project I wanted the cute digital cake and cupcake embellishments to be the focal point on my cards.  I made four cards with limited digital and hybrid supplies.  These cards could easily be modified for other occasions by changing the word art sentiments.

Supplies List:
Digital Scrapbooking Supplies
Scissors, paper cutter, bone folder
Paper – double-sided matt, card stock
Adhesive – two sided tape, glue stick
Embellishments – ribbon, glitter glue

Instructions:

Step 1 - Open a 4.25 x 5.25 document.  Drag on a paper, word art and an embellishment.  Resize.

Step 2 - Open an 8.5 x 11 document.  Maintaining the size, drag on the embellishment(s).

Step 3 - Print and cut out parts of the embellishments (icing, flowers, candles).  Note you can extract the parts you want to cut prior to printing but I decided to skip that step.

Step 4 - Glue the cut pieces to your 4.25 x 5.25 layouts with a glue stick.  Pierce paper to add ribbon.  Add glitter glue.

Step 5 - Assemble the card.

See what you can create using your Digital Scrapbooking embellishments as your center piece.  We would love to see how you use your digital scrapbooking supplies to create your own hybrid cards.  Post them in the Scrap Girls Hybrid Gallery.

Live each day creatively,
Karen
