I have always loved Syndee's Hoot And Annie Collection Mini, but it wasn't until I took on a little sewing project that I really got to see her cute illustrations come alive.

I printed out one owl and cut it into pieces to use as a pattern for soft plushies. Then, I used the pattern to trace out each piece of the owl on felt. I sewed it all together and added some embroidery here and there for the details.

I let my kids pick the colors and I sewed them over the course of a month or so. I would pick them up and stitch on them as I found time. I can't tell you how awesome it is to see my kids cuddled into bed sleeping with toys I made for them.

There are a lot of cute digital scrapbooking illustrations at Scrap Girls just waiting to be made into touchable, huggable goodness.
