Continuing on with my Pocket Life Theme, I used Elisha Barnett’s February Pocket Life Special for my journaling. I love the inking on the edges of her tag and the rounded corners. I kept that theme going and inked and rounded each of my journaling mats. I also rounded the corners of my photos as well.
I also decided to mat each journaling space with a coordinating paper. I love the layered look! I added a “bat” stamp with distress ink and heat embossed some footprints because I was using photos from the zoo.
For this tag, I layered the journaling tag at an angle and slightly off center.
On this tag, I printed the tag 4X6 inches and inked the edges. Then I glued a button on and added my journaling. I finished it off with some spray glitter to give it a little sparkle!

I LOVE the footprints you added on the tag Carla ♥ Great layering and embellishments!!! I finally purchased and received the page protectors so I could do a hybrid page, but haven’t tackled that yet… Thanks so much for the inspiration
Super tutorial Carla and I am really looking forward to seeing this as it is completed.
