Hello all!
I recently purchased a Google Nexus 7 tablet, and I have to say that I’m super happy with it, but there are just so many options.
The main thing I’ve been doing with it that really excites me is that I don’t have to always be sitting at my computer now… I can take the tablet anywhere with WiFi and get along just fine! Of course, I still need my computer for lots of wonderful things as well, but let me tell you about why I’m so excited about my new find.
First, I can read my email so easily. Why is this so exciting, you ask? Well, for me, I have all my newsletter updates at my fingertips. And what’s even better? I can follow the Scrap Girls links right over to the Boutique so easily! I really love this feature!
Second, I can read my RSS feeds easily as well. It helps that the main apps I use are Google on this tablet, but I’m still in love. Ro once told me that she takes her (iPad) tablet all over, including in bed before she dozes off to sleep to stay caught up on her favorite blog RSS feeds, and I have to say, now that I have my own tablet, I wholeheartedly agree with her! I love being able to catch up anytime, anywhere I have a WiFi connection.
It’s funny – now that I read my newsletters and RSS feeds on my tablet, how much more shopping I’ve done… no kidding! Many stores have different information in their emails versus their blogs, and I think it’s very beneficial to keep up with both. I had originally thought about canceling all of my email newsletters and just following the blog feeds, but do you know what? I probably would miss tons of great information and sales if I did!
So, my answer is this… both are great and I won’t give up either email newsgroups or blog RSS feeds. I can’t wait to explore and share all the other exciting things I will find my tablet offers me!

I have a tablet…but I don’t RSS feed anything….I’ve never looked into setting it up…*note to self* DO THIS SOON!
Did you get the 8G or 16G. Did you purchase a case with it? If so, what kind. I’m seriously thinking of getting a tablet, but wanted an Android base so this might fit the bill.
Thanks Andrea, I never thought of all this info! I don’t have a tabet (yet) but I will keep it in mind when I add this fun tool!
