Earlier this month, we debuted our newest Scrap Girls Club: Hello Lovely by designer Syndee Rogers. While we already know you’re going to love-love-love it, we thought you’d like a little behind-the-scenes details to understand better how Syndee created this club:
“I love color so much that I am always creating color palettes. So for this club, I just had to decide which one to use — not an easy feat! I narrowed it down to nine (yes, nine!) color palettes, then finally had to ask one of my daughters which was her favorite. Then I went with her choice, because otherwise, I would have just gone around in circles forever!”

Behind the Scenes
Theme of the club: While there’s not really a theme, I knew I just wanted to create a soft, colorful, and happy club to brighten up these trying times. And since I love color and all different patterns and styles, I kind of just threw them all in a Shake and Bake baggie and tossed them around and out popped Hello Lovely! (If only it were that easy!)
Trivia: I was determined to NOT drive myself crazy over the papers this time! I always start out designing the papers first, since they are the foundation of any kit. The problem is no matter how hard I try, I end up creating way more papers than I need, and sometimes end up going in all different directions and have to rein myself in. The hardest part is making myself stop creating more and then deciding which to include! (As you can imagine, I was not successful in my original plan!)
The product she things you’re going to love: My Collection Super Mini makes me so happy. It’s a mix of painted, grungy elements, and I love the softness of it. And you can never go wrong with basic patterns like gingham and grungy dots. I really love how this little collection came together.
