Where does your inspiration come from?

Inspiration can come from many places or objects — a beautiful piece of fabric, a pattern, or a color scheme I found on Pinterest, but also a movie, a song, or something I see in a shop. Inspiration is everywhere around you! You just have to look!

How long have you been designing and how did you get into it?

I have been designing scrapbook kits since July 2016, but I have always been designing something ever since I was a child. I was always drawing, crafting, always doing something creative. I dabbled in the scrapbook world in 2011, so when I discovered digital scrapbooking, totally unknown to me before, I was intrigued. I read all about it, went looking for shops and freebies online, and started as a creative team member for several designers. (In fact, Scrap Girls was one of the first shops I started to buy from!) In 2016, I decided it was time to make my own designs. The first shop I opened that was officially “my shop” was my Etsy shop at the end of November 2016.

Describe yourself in three words.

That is a tough one… Perfectionist, Introvert, Dreamer.

What’s your favorite part of the day

It’s when I get home from my part-time job at noon — the moment that I can go to my studio and get to designing!

Which store would you be most likely to max-out your credit card?

Ikea!

Where do you call home?

That would be the new home we moved to last August. It’s the place where I finally feel at home!
