I love fonts! Although I like to work with all the graphic elements in digital scrapbooking, I would definitely say I am obsessed with fonts! I think there is a good chance a lot of you are like me in that respect; maybe we should start a Fonts Anonymous group here at Scrap Girls!
Today, I’m going to share with you a simple tip to bring your font use up a notch. Instead of just typing in black or another color, why not use the paint bucket for coloring fonts? You can fill in the open areas of the letters with a color that coordinates with your digital scrapbooking layout or project? This technique will wor with any font that has an open area in it that can be filled with color.
Let’s get started coloring fonts! First, open up a blank document, taking into account the size you want your type to be on your layout or project. You could just open up a blank 12×12-inch document or a paper that you are going to use for your layout or project. Next, choose a font that is blocky or has open areas.
