Note: Tutorial written with Photoshop CS.

A really easy photo treatment, if you'd like a rock n' roll or pop art look, is to create Andy Warhol style "lithographs" using the Gradient Tool in Photoshop.

Open a new 12" x 12" document and select a background paper. I chose a grungy one for a more punky look from the City Camo Collection Biggie.

Select and import your photo.

Using the Layer> Duplicate Layer command, create three more copies of the same photo.

Arrange them into a square shape using Extras> Grid for assistance.

Select one of the Photo Layers and choose Image> Adjustments> Gradient Tool.

You can use the Gradients that appear, or select a different set of Gradient presets by clicking on the arrow next to the Gradient and choosing "Replace Gradient Set." Built-in options include Metals, Pastels, Basics, etc.

Play with the Gradient Maps on each Photo Layer until you get a color or look you like.

If you'd like to change or adjust the color, choose Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation and slide the color bars until you have the color you want.

Continue this process for each photo in the layout.

Add embellishments, a mat, a frame transparency and journaling for a fun and funky look!
