Directions for one technique I did on this layout:
When I create a digital scrapbooking layout, I like to make sure all my images are touching and nothing is left floating off by itself. This helps with the general flow of a layout. Also, I "anchor" my photos to the paper by using embellishments. On this page, I used a tape embellishment to help anchor the photos and to add further support with the roses. My photos now look safe and secure on the page.

Directions for one technique I did on this layout:
I used Elisha Barnett's ScrapSimple Digital Layout Album Templates: 12x12 Spread Out Mini for this page. These templates include a lot of details like lifted journaling, paper strips, and stitching. To give the stitching a more realistic look, I created a new blank layer under the stitching layer, then I used a small round brush to add holes where the stitching would naturally pierce the paper. Next, I applied Amanda Fraijo-Tobin's ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Stitching 6401 Mini. Some of the styles in the set are designed for stitches and others are designed for holes, so I applied the appropriate styles to both the hole and stitching layers.

Join April (April Showers) each Wednesday at 12 Noon ET for the High Noon Crop. All coasts and time zones are welcome! These crops are designed to allow you to work on your own photos and themes, simply giving participants a one hour goal and a fun, new challenge each week.
On February 20th we'll do a 3 Photo Challenge. Create a layout using 3 photos, no more, no less.
Create your layout and upload it to the special High Noon Crop Gallery. You'll be amazed what you can get done in just one hour, but there is no High Noon Sheriff timing you! Hope to see you in the chat room!

You can find your current gallery post count on the Gallery Tab of your profile. You must post in the thread for us to be able to tally your posts at the end of the month.
