Directions for one technique I did on this layout: I loved the photo placement on these templates by Andrea Trump, but I wanted to make sure the small photo on the upper left didn't get lost in all the embellishments. In order to make the little picture of Beaux stand out just a bit, I used a layered frame to give it more weight. Then I chose a bow with a long tail to draw the eye from the edge of the photo across the page breaks to the title to add some flow to the page.

Directions for one technique I did on this layout: For this layout, I used a photo I had of a landmark. We all have photos like this, and we don't always know what to do with them. Here is a great (and simple) technique to make those old buildings look like works of art you will be proud of. First, choose your photo, drag it onto a new page, and do whatever photo editing you need. Create a new layer (the little square of paper with the turned-up corner in the Layers Palette), and place it BELOW your edited photo layer. Clip your photo to this layer. Your photo will have "disappeared" now. Using Syndee Nuckles's Dynamic Brush Set: Sprayed Paint 6301, select white as your color and "paint" onto the new layer. Depending on which brush you select and the opacity and size you are working with, your picture will gradually appear. Keep painting until you are happy with the result. Add a simple background and word art, and you're finished.
