"Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it! So, it should come as no surprise that I love to design collections using the rich, warm colors of the fall season. Another favorite of mine happens to be the Super 7 Spread kits found in the Scrap Girls Boutique. These small kits are jam packed with goodies. In addition to the digital scrapbooking papers and embellishments included, each kit contains the two, layered PSD files needed to complete the featured double-page layout displayed on the product page. My Super 7 Spread by Kim Meeder is filled with falling leaves, thanksgiving sentiments and a pop of color making it perfect for most any subject. Nolan, my grandson, is the cutie patootie featured in the double-spread layout. By the way, he's another of my favorites in life!"
1. When designing a collection what do you start with first? Papers, embellishments, word art?
My inspiration for a collection usually starts with a mood, theme or embellishments. However, when I start the actual design process, I always start with the papers. I love designing papers.
2. Are you an early morning designer or do you burn the midnight candle?
I'm an early morning designer. Everything is fresh to me in the morning. A lot of my ideas and inspiration come while I am in the shower. What's up with that? I've heard quite a few people say the same thing. I guess it's the one place where I am alone and can think without being interrupted (if I'm lucky).

November's Forum Game: Products Picks Game
This November, we are playing the Products Picks game where we encourage you to stroll through the aisles of the boutique and do a little window shopping.
Each Monday through Saturday in November, a member of the Welcoming Committee will post the name of one or two product designers in this Product Picks game thread. You will then head to the Scrap Girls Boutique and navigate to that particular designer's product pages. Choose any of their products (your favorite product, one you like, or one you wish you owned), then head over to the Product Picks game thread and share the product name, boutique link, and a brief explanation of why you chose that product.
At the end of the month, members who haves posted links to 41 products (one for each designer) will be entered in a drawing for one of three $10 Gift Certificates. Members who have posted links to 16-40 products will be entered in a drawing for one of two $5 Gift Certificates. And members who have posted links to 10-15 products will be entered in a drawing for one of two $3 Gift Certificates.

November Monthly Layout Contest: What are you thankful for? Have you thought about your blessing lately?
