Debbie Cleek
President, Scrap Girls Inc.
I want to personally thank everyone who took the time to participate in our customer survey over the past few weeks. We got an overwhelming response and feel like we really have some wonderful information to help us chart a great future for Scrap Girls.
We learned that you love Scrap Girls for the quality of our products, and we promise we will continue to provide the highest quality products available in digital scrapbooking.
You told us that you are interested in doing more cards and crafts with your digital scrapbooking stash, so we've set our team to work on it.
You said that time is the major factor preventing you from scrapbooking more, so we've arranged for you to have 25 hours in your day, so that you will always have time to scrapbook.
Okay, maybe I'm kidding about that last one, but if we find a way to give you more time, you'll be the first to know about it!
I especially enjoyed your responses to the question that asked, "If you could tell the President of Scrap Girls anything, what would it be?"
Some of you were honest: "I really don't like the color purple."
And some of you were funny: "No skirt-blowing — Scrap Girls is my favorite scrap site!"
Some of you gave me kind words of encouragement: "Glad to see you have a passion for Scrap Girls, and I wish you much luck in the future with it."
Others took the time to say "thank you" to our talented designers and team behind the scenes: "Employees are kind and helpful, speedy on replies to emails."
But my favorite comments of all came from many of you who took a moment to let me know how much you love Scrap Girls. I'm going to save these comments and re-read them whenever I have a tough day, because it will really help me remember why it all matters.
Finally, Angela Bryant has a "thank you" note to write to Random.org, the random number generator that picked the winner of our survey drawing. Angela will receive a Bamboo Capture Tablet. When I emailed her the news, she sent this happy reply:
Hi, Debbie,
I was so thrilled to receive your email and still can't believe I am actually a winner! I have wanted a tablet for a long time now. I have several photos that I would like to work on doing such things as taking out backgrounds and getting rid of distractions in the picture, and I find that quite hard to do with a mouse, so I am hoping a tablet will help me to be much more precise.
I learned most of my digital scrapbooking from Scrap Girls and Ro's tutorials. I love all the brilliant layouts from the layout team.... I also love all the products in the Boutique, and I mostly tend to buy kits because all the fab designers do such a great job in mixing and matching so everything blends so well together.
I have been scrapbooking now for about three years, although it took me a long time to build up some confidence with it. My first project was an album I made for my son's 30th birthday. I am now completely hooked and have loads of photos that I want to get around to working on. At the moment, I am still employed and have quite a large garden to look after as well, so I don't get as much time to "play" as I would like, but that doesn't stop me from being a scrapping addict.
Thank you so much for your email, my prize, and all the great work that you all do at Scrap Girls. Where would we be without you?!
Kindest regards,
Angela
Congratulations, Angela! And thanks to all our Scrap Girls who participated in the survey!
- Debbie
