East Coast High Noon Crop
Wednesday, March 21st - 10:00AM MDT
Join April (April Showers) each Wednesday at 10am MT for the East Coast High Noon Crop. All coasts and time zones are welcome! These crops are designed to allow you to work on your own photos and themes, simply giving participants a one hour goal and a fun, new challenge each week.
On March 21st, we'll do a Color Challenge. Create a layout using pastel colors.
Create your layout and upload it to the special High Noon Crop Gallery. You'll be amazed what you can get done in just one hour, but there is no High Noon Sheriff timing you! Hope to see you in the chat room!
Hybrid Craft Chat
Wednesday, March 21st - 6:00PM MDT
Join Shannon (tinkerbell11) in the chat room for a Hybrid Craft Chat at 6pm MT on Wednesday. This month, we will highlight Syndee Nuckles' ScrapSimple Craft Templates: Accordion Album 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. This square album is easy to make and print at home in a flash. We'll share some tips on how to use this template and make your own beautiful mini album.
March's Forum Game: Simple Steps to Super Scrapping
This month's Scrap Girls Forum game, Simple Steps to Super Scrapping, is designed to help you get more scrapbook pages done with a series of simple steps that add up to a finished page at the end of each week.
Throughout March, Monday through Saturday, a team member will post a daily layout step in the Simple Steps to Super Scrapping game thread; the first week has 9 steps, and the remaining three weeks have 6 steps each. These steps will be posted in large purple font so they will be easy to spot.
Members who complete the steps required in the game thread and post all 4 layouts in the Simple Steps to Super Scrapping Gallery will be entered in a drawing for one of two $15.00 Scrap Girls Boutique Gift Certificates.
Each completed layout posted in the Simple Steps to Super Scrapping Gallery, up to 4 per member, will be entered in a drawing for one of three $5.00 Scrap Girls Boutique Gift Certificates.
You have until 11:59pm MDT on March 31, 2012 to complete the steps and post your layouts to the Simple Steps to Super Scrapping Gallery.

March Monthly Layout Contest: The month of March brings the beginning of spring here in the northern hemisphere. With the coming of spring, we think of renewal. For March's contest, we would like to see your layouts with the theme of renewal or rebirth - be it personal, professional, family, or from nature. Post your layouts in the March Monthly Layout Gallery before Midnight MDT on March 31st. Be sure to tell us by title, word art or journaling how this layout fits the theme and to list your layout's product credits in the description or under the EXIF Properties. Two layouts will be selected to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!
Club Concepts Layout Contest: Post your new layout using the current club selection (either the Scrap Girls Club or the ScrapSimple Club) in our Scrap Girls Club Members Gallery or the ScrapSimple Club Members' Gallery. Be sure to list all of the Scrap Girls products you used. If your layout is chosen, it will be showcased as a Club Concepts layout winner, and you will win a $5 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!

1. What program do you use to do your digital scrapbooking?
Adobe Photoshop Elements 7
2. Are you a Mac or a PC?
I'm a PC user.
3. Tell us the make and model of digital camera that you use.
Good question... umm, it's a Sony Cybershot DSC-W350.
4. Name one thing that every beginning digital scrapbooker should know.
Less is more. If it feels too busy, it probably is. Let your photos be the star.
5. If you could be transformed into a digital scrapbooking embellishment, what would you choose and why?
This one I know! Ribbon. Definitely. Or glitter... No, ribbon! No, glitter... No, ribbon! I like the way they add colour and movement to the page and link areas together.
6. What time of day do you find that you do your best scrapbooking?
Usually evenings when kids are in bed.
7. What is your favorite snack?
Just one?? Probably Fruchocs (chocolate) at home... but I am partial to Balfours Chocolate Donuts and Frog cakes. I also adore Haigh's Orange Milk Pastilles as a treat (more chocolate!)
8. What is your least favorite household chore?
Just one?? Dusting.
9. Finish this sentence. "I couldn't live without..."
...love. Simple as that.
