If Only...
Control+Z worked in real life.
Undo that comment I made during the fight I had with my husband.
Undo that lazy day where I procrastinated too much.
Undo that moment when I lost control of my anger with my daughter.
Undo that horrible two-month depression.
But if Control+A worked, would I really be the woman I am today?
Maybe I need Control+G to "clip and change" to the circumstance.
Learn to think before speaking.
Discover the joy of getting things done, then being lazy.
Offer apologies and receive forgiveness from my daughter over my anger.
Know that God made me perfectly, and that includes my emotions, and He has great plans for me.

1. What program do you use to do your digital scrapbooking?
Adobe Photoshop Elements 4
2. Are you a Mac or a PC?
PC
3. Tell us the make and model of digital camera that you use.
A digital Canon Rebel (EOS) and a Kodak EasyShare
4. Name one thing that every beginning digital scrapbooker should know.
Every beginner should know that their pages are created to please themselves. There is no reason to be intimidated or fearful that their work is "not good enough." As long as it makes them happy, it's perfect!
5. If you could be transformed into a digital scrapbooking embellishment, what would you choose and why?
I am not sure what embellishment I would want to be. But I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick a ribbon. I love the way ribbons can add movement and "tie" a page together.
6. What time of day do you find that you do your best scrapbooking?
I scrap pretty much any time of day that I have the chance. I am a SAHM (stay-at-home mother) right now, so I find that I scrap best in the morning after the kids are off to school and before I have to get my household chores done. :)
7. What is your favorite snack?
My favorite snack would probably be kettle corn.
8. What is your least favorite household chore?
Laundry has to be my least favorite chore, followed closely by cleaning bathrooms.
9. Finish this sentence. "I couldn't live without..."
I couldn't live without God and my family.
10. What's your current favorite layout that you've done?

Quote Challenge & Chat

Come join Pat (PBarnes) for the Quote Challenge Crop at 7pm MT. Including a quote on your layout can be a touching and meaningful addition, especially if you use the quote to create your own word art. Here's how it will work. Early on Monday, Pat will post a thread on the Chat section of the board giving you the quote that you will use to make your own word art. It's not hard, and she will have a layout with a Word Art example in the gallery. Then we'll meet in the chat room to have fun, chat, and create our Word Art layout! Everyone can participate and create a layout, even if you can't make the chat. Hope to see you there!

November Message Board Game: Thankfulness Game!
It's time to give thanks for all the large and small blessings in our life! Each day during November, with the exception of Sundays, a member of the Welcoming Committee will post the name of an item for which we are thankful in the official game thread. To participate in the game, you will search the Scrap Girls Boutique and Gallery for layouts including that item, and then post a link to either the product or gallery page in the game thread.
Each member who links to a Boutique product layout will be entered into a drawing for one of three $3 Gift Certificates. Each member who links to a gallery layout (and leaves love on the layout) will be entered in a drawing for one of five $5 Gift Certificates!

November Monthly Layout Contest: This November, let's be a tourist in your own town! Show us around and tell us what makes the area you live in so special! Why do you live there? You can scrap about your town, city, county, or state. Share those layouts in the November Monthly Layout Gallery before Midnight MST on November 30th. Be sure to list your credits in the description or under the EXIF Properties. Two layouts will be selected to win a $10 Gift Card to the Scrap Girls Boutique!
Club Concepts Layout Contest: Post your new layout using the current club selection (either the Scrap Girls Club or the ScrapSimple Club) in our Scrap Girls Club Members Gallery or the ScrapSimple Club Members' Gallery. Be sure to list all of the Scrap Girls products you used. If your layout is chosen, it will be showcased as a Club Concepts layout winner, and you will win a $5 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!
