Printable calendars are all the rage. With the New Year right around the corner, people are looking for meaningful gifts to make and to give to their loved ones. My family loves receiving these homemade gifts full of our memories and photos. I still have "This is my favorite gift!" ringing in my ears from when I gave my sister one of these calendars for Christmas.

Printable calendars are quick and easy to put together. You can print calendars at home or use a print shop that will print and also bind your calendar for you. Thanks for visiting the calendar section with me. Before I go, I want to share what I am doing with my calendar. I am printing it out, clipping it to a clipboard, and attaching it to the wall. The 3M Command™ Strips come in handy for this. I can carry it around the house if I'm on the phone and need to pencil in a date. The hard back of the clipboard makes a great writing surface. It will be so easy to change out the months. I love this fun way of showing off the printable calendar!

I don't know what it is, but these swaps bring out the best in everyone. This is the time to chat about the theme, the beautiful layouts and learn about the swap crop if you haven't participated before. We'll brainstorm a theme for next month, too! Have you thought about making a calendar for your family and friends, but just don't know where to start? Are you hoping you'll finish the one you've started in time to get it out to everyone? Quote Challenge & Chat
Monday, November 21st - 7:00PM MST

Come join Pat (PBarnes) for the Quote Challenge Crop at 7pm MT. Including a quote on your layout can be a touching and meaningful addition, especially if you use the quote to create your own word art. Here's how it will work. Early on Monday, Pat will post a thread on the Chat section of the board giving you the quote that you will use to make your own word art. It's not hard, and she will have a layout with a Word Art example in the gallery. Then we'll meet in the chat room to have fun, chat, and create our Word Art layout! Everyone can participate and create a layout, even if you can't make the chat. Hope to see you there!

November Message Board Game: Thankfulness Game!

It's time to give thanks for all the large and small blessings in our life! Each day during November, with the exception of Sundays, a member of the Welcoming Committee will post the name of an item for which we are thankful in the official game thread. To participate in the game, you will search the Scrap Girls Boutique and Gallery for layouts including that item, and then post a link to either the product or gallery page in the game thread.

Each member who links to a Boutique product layout will be entered into a drawing for one of three $3 Gift Certificates. Each member who links to a gallery layout (and leaves love on the layout) will be entered in a drawing for one of five $5 Gift Certificates!

You can scrap about your town, city, county, or state. Share those layouts in the November Monthly Layout Gallery before Midnight MST on November 30th. Be sure to list your credits in the description or under the EXIF Properties. Two layouts will be selected to win a $10 Gift Card to the Scrap Girls Boutique!

Club Concepts Layout Contest: Post your new layout using the current club selection (either the Scrap Girls Club or the ScrapSimple Club) in our Scrap Girls Club Members Gallery or the ScrapSimple Club Members' Gallery. Be sure to list all of the Scrap Girls products you used. If your layout is chosen, it will be showcased as a Club Concepts layout winner, and you will win a $5 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!
