QUESTION: I have not been online in a while and now everything has changed. I went to see what was in my shopping cart and it is all gone. What happened? I can't remember what I had in there.

ANSWER 1: I went and checked my shopping cart and the items are still in there; they have been there for a few days. Have you deleted your cookies or temp files? When I use my cleaning programs, I copy the cart page to my desktop because otherwise my stuff always gets deleted.

RESPONSE: Yes, I did change my Internet settings recently. I guess I'll have to think about that and not leave things in the cart for too long or make a second list somewhere else.

ANSWER 2: An alternative is to use Kaboodle. In the boutique, after you open the item you're interested in, you'll see a button to the left of the image which says, "Add to Kaboodle Wish List." Click on this, create an account, and you can save your wish list here. After losing some items myself, everything now goes into Kaboodle until I purchase them.

QUESTION: I want to thank Melissa Renfro for the tutorial in today's newsletter. I also want to say that if you don't have ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Edge It 5001, you should get it! It is amazing and I love all of the different samples she shares.

ANSWER 1: I completely agree. It's an absolute "must have."

ANSWER 2: I have it, but haven't used it yet. Melissa's tutorial and examples in the newsletter are all I need to give it a try. I also want a few of the dynamic brushes and styles she uses!

ANSWER 3: I have the action and had no idea I could do so many cool things with it! I'm going to be playing with it a lot more now!

ANSWER 4: I echo all of the above! ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Edge It 5001 is one of my "go to" actions! I am not sure what I would do without it!

RESPONSE: Thanks! I am glad the tutorial was helpful. The thing I love about ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Edge It 5001 is that it can be used for so many things and there are so many dynamic brushes out now. Sometimes, with a tool like this, you get used to using it a certain way and forget how versatile it really is. I know I do that, so it is always fun to play with it in new ways and try out some of the new dynamic brushes.

QUESTION: My Paint Bucket Tool in Photoshop Elements 5 has stopped working. I select it, but it doesn't do anything. Although, if I go to Edit it gives me the option to undo Paint Bucket. Does anyone have any ideas how I might fix this? I know I can insert the software CD to reload the program, but then I would have to reset the preferences, add in the styles, brushes, etc. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

ANSWER 1: Try resetting the Paint Bucket Tool. After you select the Paint Bucket, on the Options Bar to the far left (left of Fill) is a little bucket icon. Click on it and it gives you the option to "Reset the Tool." Also, you can fill with the foreground and background colors using your keyboard shortcuts. Alt+Delete fills with the foreground color. Ctrl+Delete fills with the background color.

ANSWER 2: Here are a couple of things you can try. First, make sure you are using the Paint Bucket on the right layer. Make sure what you are filling with color isn't being covered by something else. Second, make sure your foreground color palette isn't set to the same color as your background paper or you won't be able to see the colors. Simple things, I know, but often it's the simple things that hang us up. (I speak from experience.) Third, check your Paint Bucket settings. When the Paint Bucket Tool is active, across the top of the screen are several settings. (The bar up across the top is called the Options Menu) Make sure that the mode is set to "Normal" and the Opacity is set to 100%. Fourth, you can reset the Paint Bucket Tool by clicking on the paint bucket in the top left corner of the Options Bar. If none of these things help, try rebooting your computer. When you start PSE up again, hold the Shift key down to reset your preferences.

ANSWER 3: I think almost every suggestion has been covered, but I also wonder if you could have a selection in place somewhere? You can use the shortcut, Ctrl+D to deselect. This is one that gets me often because I will often "hide" my selection and then forget I have one in place!

RESPONSE: Thanks! It was the setting. It works again. That's what happens when you just start playing with settings and really haven't a clue what you are doing. Some days, I think I know just the very tip of what PSE can do. Anyway, it's so nice just to be able to drop in here and get help. I really appreciate you all!
