Digital Scrapbooking Product Designer

Laura Louie joins the Scrap Girls team with an avid love and strength in Adobe Illustrator. A 30-something professional in the corporate world, she got her start in the design industry as a PowerPoint presentation specialist for companies, which then extended into creating the graphics for the presentations as well. Combined with her love of photography, her design skills lead her to digital scrapbooking as a career.

As a busy work-at-home mom of a 2 1/2 year old little girl and 15 month twins, Laura and her husband Michael have plenty of photography inspiration. Her dog Bandit and her cat Cali are around to keep her company during naptime, when she gets most of her design work finished. Laura often starts with a photograph that she loves to inspire her designs, and continues to expand her skills in art and design.

Laura loves taking art classes and having pizza with meatball topping. She is thrilled to be a part of the Scrap Girls team, and excited to add her art to the beautiful things in the boutique. She can't wait to get to know the team and the customers here at Scrap Girls and become a part of the family.
