Wendee is delighted by all things digital. Even as a child, she was the one that everyone would ask how to work the VCR, the new camera, the microwave, or pretty much anything electronic, so it was really natural for her to enjoy working with computers.

She began teaching computer classes in the corporate world in 1995 and continues to do so today for her local community college's continuing education department. Her favorite class to teach is (of course) Photoshop. In addition to managing Scrap Girls' website, helping with the Scrap Girls' newsletters and teaching, Wendee designs websites and logos for businesses and individuals. She is just starting to put together digital scrapbooking products for the Scrap Girls Boutique and is really excited about these new challenges!

Most of Wendee's work is done from the comfort of her home office. She enjoys being in the thick of things and watching her children play while she's working. When she takes a break, she likes to spend time playing with her family, digging in her flower garden, and taking pictures of her flowers and children.

In the summer of 2008, Wendee got her Canon 40D, and the world of digital SLR photography opened for her to explore. She loves shooting in manual and adjusting the f-stop, shutter speed, and ISO to achieve the effects she's looking for. She still drools when she sees an L series lens and hopes to add one to her collection someday.

In 1998, Wendee was introduced to Photoshop and she began "playing with her photos on the computer" (i.e., digital scrapbooking - she just didn't know what to call it). In 1999, she designed her wedding invitation using Photoshop. Around 2005, she found Scrap Girls and has loved digital scrapbooking with such beautiful, professionally designed kits. She now uses the Adobe CS5 Design Suite, and her love of Photoshop has never stopped growing.

In 1999, Wendee married her sweetheart, and they've been enjoying "happily ever after" together. She has three wonderful children and enjoys watching their daily adventures in creativity. She likes volunteering in their school classrooms, going on field trips with them, and getting pedicures with her teenage daughter. Wendee's faith is a major part of her life. She is currently in charge of her church congregation's choir. She loves to sing and is enjoying developing her musical talents as a choir director.

Wendee often says she'd rather be busy than bored. However, at times she feels she has so many pots on the stove that she's just trying to keep them all stirred. She is so happy that she has such a fun hobby as digital scrapbooking to take a break from it all and enjoy the wonderful online retreat of Scrap Girls to make friends as she records her family's memories.
