Kim and her husband Carson reside in Pennsylvania where they own and operate a landscaping company. Although their four daughters are adults, the family has continued to grow with the addition of two sons-in-law, two grandsons, and a third grandchild due this year. Throw into the mix one chihuahua, one miniature dachshund, and one ornery, orange tabby cat, and Kim will tell you that her home is anything but quiet. And, she wouldn’t have it any other way!
Kim believes she inherited her love of art and design from a grandmother who designed fabrics and carpets in the 1920’s. Although encouraged by her family to pursue an art and design education in college, Kim followed a different career path. Over the years, the demands of career and family limited her artistic endeavors to an occasional art class and sporadic spurts of creativity that resulted in varied craft projects.
However, with the newfound freedom and time that came from being an empty-nester, Kim decided to organize the family photos into paper scrapbooks. She discovered digital scrapbooking and Scrap Girls in May 2007 while looking online for scrapbooking supplies. It was a match made in heaven! Digital scrapbooking has provided Kim with an outlet for her creativity and self-expression. She hopes her designs will spark the artistic flame in others and help them create lasting memories for future generations.
Kim is delighted to join the Digital Scrapbook Product Design Team at Scrap Girls. She is blessed and inspired daily by the talent, knowledge, compassion, and generosity of the Scrap Girls community - both its staff and its members.
