Katherine Weaver is a freelance graphic designer with a background in website design, brand recognition, and print materials for small business owners. Having come from a family of educators, she also has a degree in Psychology, with a background in teaching and education administration.
A paper scrapbooking die-hard turned digicrafter, Katherine is an Adobe software aficionado. Also considering herself a fonts junkie, she claims one of her prized, yet playful mantras to be, “She who dies with the most fonts wins.”
Katherine joined Scrap Girls as an instructor in early 2008, specializing in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and Wacom tablet techniques. In mid-2009 she was blessed to also join the Scrap Girls Digital Scrapbooking Product Design Team.
A married mother of two boys, Katherine also keeps busy with volunteer efforts for church, school, and her community. Her husband is a third-generation commercial airline pilot. Katherine and her family live near Tampa, Florida.
