Jo is originally from South Africa but has lived in Melbourne, Australia, for the last 17 years. She is mum to a beautiful teenage daughter and a handsome son. She is wife of 17 years to her very own strange but wonderful Englishman!
Jo is the art director for a small not-for-profit organization. She has been a graphic designer in the publishing sector for almost 18 years and is loving being able to use her design skills to work in creating digital collections and layouts. She uses Photoshop CS5 on her dearly loved iMac, a Bamboo tablet and, hopefully, some creativity. She especially enjoys finding new tricks that she learns through her job and designing and then being able to use them to create beautiful collections.
Jo began digital scrapbooking in 2006 and found it to be soothing and very, very addictive. This led her to be a Layout Designer at Scrap Girls for three years, and after a year's break, has now led her to creating the beautiful collections she has so enjoyed using. She loves experimenting and learning new techniques for her designs and layouts, and thoroughly enjoys meeting all the wonderful people in the digiscrapping community.
Jo is thrilled, excited and overjoyed, (can you tell she's really, really happy?) to be accepted as a Scrap Girls Product Designer and hopes to grow and learn through her designs and new friendships.
