Ginny and her husband, Jack, live in rural Pennsylvania. Together they have a wonderful family of six children and eight grandchildren. Their youngest child has recently graduated from high school, and they will soon be empty nesters. But, as you can imagine, their home will never be quiet, as their family is expanding rapidly with new grandchildren. They also share their home with Schroeder (a six-year-old Shar Pei) and Domino (a 16-year-old Tuxedo Cat).
Ginny has been doodling, drawing, and painting since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Any flat surface or blank paper served as a canvas for her artwork. This eventually transitioned into a love for charcoals, acrylics, and oils. In 1998, a friend introduced Ginny to Paint Shop Pro and she quickly became an avid digital painter.
In 2004, Ginny opened her own website and started offering her artwork to the public. In 2007, she was asked to help teach several groups her Paint Shop Pro painting techniques. She agreed and has been writing PSP tutorials ever since.
It was in this group that Ginny saw her first digital scrapbooking set. Members of her groups were using the results of her tutorials to create beautiful scrapbook kits. Immediately, her interest was piqued and so began her journey into the scrapbooking world.
In mid-2012, her commitment to teach fulfilled, Ginny set out to find a new outlet for her artwork. Suddenly, as if in answer to prayer, the letter from Scrap Girls appeared in her email. Her husband encouraged her to apply, and even though she was not quite sure she had what Scrap Girls was looking for, she decided to take the chance and applied.
When the offer to join the Scrap Girls team arrived, Ginny was honored and excited. She eagerly accepted and looks forward with great anticipation to the opportunity to work with and learn from such a talented team and group of members.
