Brandy began creating and maintaining her first scrapbook at the age of 16. Back then, it was all about how many different scissor edges and stickers could be used on a layout. Yikes! Needless to say, her pages have evolved... a lot!

As a graphic designer with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Brandy has found her niche in the scrapbooking industry. Upon graduating from Utah State University, she was fortunate enough to find a job as a product designer for a paper scrapbooking company, which she enjoyed for many years.

However, with the growth and needs of her family, a change was needed. But her love for designing wouldn't let her quit working altogether, which led her to designing for Scrap Girls. She is thrilled to be a part of the Scrap Girls community and has loved the move to digital scrapbooking!

Brandy's scrapbooking products and layouts have been presented on television shows including the Home Shopping Network (HSN) and the DIY network. She has written and contributed to several idea books. She has also been featured as a national and international instructor, teaching scrapbooking all over the country and into Canada. But it wasn't until after having the opportunity to travel to and teach scrapbooking in South Africa that she came to realize the amazing talent and love for scrapping that scrapbookers have all over the world!

As much as Brandy enjoys the creative process of making beautiful digital scrapbook page layouts, recording the stories and happenings of life is as important to her as enjoying all the fun this craft has to offer. Happily, scrapbooking makes it feel more enjoyable to organize photos, dates, stories, and feelings so the memories don't fade away with time.

In addition to creating, designing, and scrapping in front of her computer, Brandy also loves spending time with her family of boys, hanging out with friends, taking pictures, reading, and watching movies (if she doesn't fall asleep through them)! ;)

Brandy is a stay-at-home mom living in Las Vegas, NV with her wonderfully supportive husband James, and their four, full-of-life boys, Braxton, Kobee, Dylan, and McKoy.
