The tutorials explained everything I needed to get started digital scrapbooking and even create some things myself. And the newsletters furthered my knowledge, inspired creativity and got me organized with all the products I was purchasing. I thought I was in scrapbook heaven... until Scrap Girls came out with the ScrapSimple Templates! Then, I KNEW I was in digital scrapbook heaven. |
What is Digital Scrapbooking? |

Take your photographs with a camera.

Bring your photographs onto your computer. If you used a digital camera, just hook it up to your computer. If you used a film camera, scan the photos in (or arrange for your film processor to give you a CD).

Next, open the photo editing software you have installed on your computer. This is the type of software that is commonly used to computer scrapbook. (Popular brands include Adobe Photoshop Elements, Photoshop, and Corel Paint Shop Pro.)

Open a photograph in your software.

Open the digital graphics (the pretty stuff you buy at Scrap Girls) that make up the supplies you will use.

Now, here's the good part... Have FUN creating your digital scrapbook layout!

Once your computer scrapbooking layouts are created, you can print them onto photo paper with your printer, you can send them to a photo processor, or you can have them printed in bound books. You can also email your layouts to anyone and post them in galleries.
